This event is being organized in collaboration with Wright-Locke Farm, an organic farm that grows  produce and carries out educational programs for the community.  Land accessed during this event is managed by both Wright-Locke Farm and also by Lexington Recreation and Community Programs.

Parking Location

Do not park on the Farm property. Please park at the Mullen Field Parking Lot (72 Lockeland Road, approx.). Mullen Field parking lot is a 5 minute walk to Wright-Locke Farm. Please use caution when crossing the streets.

Registration Location

Enter the farm directly off of 82 Ridge St, and you will find registration under a green tent in the animal corral. Go past the chicken coop. The corral is located to the right of the 2nd big barn . If you reach the goats you have gone too far.

Course Options and Details

• White (8 checkpoints, .8 km): Beginner Course
• Yellow (12 checkpoints 2.2 km): Advanced Beginner Course
• Orange (11 checkpoints, 3.2 km): Intermediate Course
• Brown (11 checkpoints, 3.5km): Advanced Short Course 
• Green (20 checkpoints, 4.0 km): Advanced Medium Length Course

Fees

• Members with SI timing Device Orienteer Free (Join Now).  If you do not own an SI device you can rent one ($5)  or purchase one at the event ($35 and get an 'orienteer for free card' for a friend). 
• Non-members:$10 adult, $5 juniors (7-21 yrs), < 7 free. Family max of $25.  If you do not own an SI device you can rent one ($5)  on the day or purchase one ($35 and run free on the day).  
• Groups: Fee: $20 plus $2 per person. See group information below. 

Payment at event registration table (Paypal, GooglePay, ApplePay,  and credit card accepted). Cash also accepted. 

Timing Device and Compass

• Time yourself by using a SI device. 
• Bring your own compass. If you forgot one, check at the registration desk. We have a limited number to lend out.

Safety

• Bring a whistle with you on the course. Grab one from the event Payment table if you don’t have one.
• When you finish your course, check in at the computer station so we know that you are off the course!! 

Water 

• Bring your own water to the event and carry it on the course, if needed. 

Groups

• Groups must pre-register by Tuesday before the event by contacting the meet director.  Maps cannot be guaranteed for unregistered groups. 
• Provide information on the anticipated number of participants and if you are bringing a bus or van to the event. Special parking requirements may be required by the venue. 
• Loan of compasses and SI-devices are included with group rates. 
• Group leaders should pick up maps at the registration table. 
• All group participants need to sign a waiver either on-line at in-person registration or in advance.
