During the 2 weeks of BYOM orienteering, the foliage transitioned from open to leafy, with an abundance of wildflowers, including lady slippers, appearing over this time period. While the industrious beavers continue to increase the size of their pond, all controls remained accessible with dry (well, mostly!) feet.
Of the 52 known starts, 22 were on the Intro 1 & 2 courses. It was nice to have AMC Worcester come out to take advantage of the courses and learn about the sport of orienteering. Hopefully many of them will come to future NEOC meets.
