Join us for an in-person training activity. Please list your name on the sign-up sheet so we know how many maps to print. The deadline to register is 4/1 at 5 pm.
Training is free for NEOC members. You can renew your membership here.
Non-members should bring $5 (cash only) and sign a waiver form on-site.
Start Window: 10 am - 12 pm.
Please be out of the woods by 2 pm.
Please park in one of the two parking lots south of the Oakmont Regional High School (9 Oakmont Dr, Ashburnham, MA 01430).
The start will be near the tennis courts. See map on the Site Map tab of the registration sheet.
There will be four courses available:
Beginner: 2.4 km - Controls will be on or close to trails.
Advanced Short: 4.7 km
Advanced Long: 6.2 kmControl locations will be marked with streamers.
Advanced Training Course: 5.9 km & shorter option: The area around some of the control circles are whited out in order to help you practice choosing a good attack point and visualizing the control circle. A shorter version will also be available for those wanting to practice technical skills on a shorter course
